ALL THROUGH HISTORY Gods Men & Women have stood in the Gap in Politics, Kingdoms and Governments Alike... Yet, we have made a religious system that demands inclusion and acceptance to appease majorities and keep our churches full of Members. Yet, the Lord is moving in an unprecedented way this hour. He is restoring Prophets, Priests and Kings to their rightful position.
PROPHETS & KINGS
Often God paired Prophets with Kings, as the order of the earthly realm was to be governed under the veil - Gods vicinity to man always needed a representative to stand between man. The Sacrifices of Goats and Bulls had to be between Gods dealings with man. A Priest to cleanse the hands of man, a Prophet to be his voice, and a Seer to be his Eyes.
Although God always desired to rule his nations affairs directly from his throne - the people were unable to have confidence in an invisible king, and needed flesh and blood to rule them in Gods stead. This displeased God, yet the limited faith of the people could not be denied. "God will always meet you where you Faith is!" So he gave them a king like the other nations of the earth... Gods people suffered the limitation of flesh to rule over them. Now the Prophet become a mediator between God and his Kings, for the people could not bear the voice of God. The same as on the Mount before the Lord with Moses when the people could not bear to hear Gods voice.
FOREVER BLIND
This limitation, although ancient - still exists today. We see a church still unable to bear the voice of God, still needing to hide behind flesh for a lack of faith in the King of Kings - even after the veil was torn when Christ died. The Church still cowering before the authentic voice of God, desiring the confidence of "flesh" and "what can be seen." to confront the affairs of our time.
OUR PLIGHT
And like in Samuels day - God still warns the people of the plight of kings where he says:
1 Samuel 8:10-22
10 So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking for a king from him. 11 He said, “These will be the ways of the king who will reign over you: he will take your sons and appoint them to his chariots and to be his horsemen and to run before his chariots. 12 And he will appoint for himself commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and some to plow his ground and to reap his harvest, and to make his implements of war and the equipment of his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14 He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive orchards and give them to his servants. 15 He will take the tenth of your grain and of your vineyards and give it to his officers and to his servants. 16 He will take your male servants and female servants and the best of your young men[a] and your donkeys, and put them to his work. 17 He will take the tenth of your flocks, and you shall be his slaves. 18 And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”
The Lord Grants Israel's Request
19 But the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel. And they said, “No! But there shall be a king over us, 20 that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.” 21 And when Samuel had heard all the words of the people, he repeated them in the ears of the Lord. 22 And the Lord said to Samuel, “Obey their voice and make them a king.” Samuel then said to the men of Israel, “Go every man to his city.”
And the same as in that Day, our confidence in Man - Not God, still becomes our plight!
TODAY
How do we fix this? But, by replacing our confidence in Man to Confidence in God! Prophets of old were the voice of God to the people in the place of their limitation - their was a veil, a fear and Gods voice was a threat rather than a comfort due to the unredeemed rath of the Lord without Christ. Today we stand in a different dispensation - the veil has been Torn! And for those of us who put our confidence in God - his voice becomes a comfort.
Prophets today are no longer a replacement of Gods voice, but a spark to ignite his voice in the people... If we never allow his word to ignite us, we will continue to be limited under the rule of flesh... in this nation and in our lives! Therefore it is time for our hearts to be ignited and stirred - that the prophets, the intercessors and all of the church would stand up and pray this hour. Pray with me today and sow a seed into this word for your house - touch and agree as we believe the lord for what only he can bring! If you are believing God for a breakthrough - I believe there is light in this verry letter to your miracle today. Invest into that light, support our mission, help us continue to go to the nations, and help us build... even as we step more into the grace of this Prophetic office from the humble beginnings till now your support goes along way.
INVEST INTO LIGHT
Seasons of prophecy fulfillment are seasons of LIGHT! If you are believing God for your season to be unlocked, for instructions, direction, or answers... When we learn to turn into moments of revelation, take advantage of seasons of light and pay attention to the tokens and signs of God, we harness the prophetic grace to unlock the seasons of our own life. As you sow a seed into this week of revelation - I'm praying for vision and revelation to open to you. As your prophet, one that God has designated for you this time - I'm prayerfully dedicated and declaring that your eyes and ears are open in Jesus name!
